An alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. G.S. Lamba got trained in the field of Gastroenterology at G.B. Pant Hospital. He has served as Assistant Professor in department of Gastroenterology at G.B. Pant Hospital. In a career spanning more than 2 decades, he holds the distinction of being one of the most renowned endoscopic experts in the country.

Dr. Lamba has been a part of various national and international researches. He has authored many papers including publication in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine.

He has been instrumental in organizing many academic workshops and conferences across the country and has been a teaching faculty at various Conferences in Asian and European countries.
