Dr. J.B. Sharma

Work Experience: 30+ Years

Dr J B Sharma did his MBBS from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad. After completing his MBBS , he did MD (General Medicine) from NHL Medical College, Ahmedabad, following it up with a DM in Medical Oncology from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad in 2001.

After his DM, he joined Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center in Feb 2002 working as Consultant Medical Oncology. He held this position till August 2010. Dr. Sharma then joined Action Cancer Hospital, Delhi as Senior Consultant and Head Deptt of Medical Oncology. He is associated with various esteemed national and international forums that include ICON (Indian Cancer Cooperative Network), ISMPO (Indian Society of Medical and Pediatric Oncology), ASCO (American society of clinical oncology) & ESMO (European society of medical oncology) among others. Dr Sharma has been associated with many clinical trials also as Principal Investigators and as Co-Investigator.

Dr. Sharma has had 20+ publications both national and international and is involved in more than 200 academic meetings. His expertise is in treating all types of solid tumors that include Lung, Head and neck cancer, Breast, Urinary Bladder, Cervix, Uterus, Liver, Stomach, pancreas, Intestine, Esophagus and many more as well as hematological malignancies like Leukemias (Blood Cancer) and Multiple Myeloma, Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), Hodgkin’s Disease etc.
